Cruising on I-185 going to visit my family.

So, finally, on Sunday I went to Columbus, GA to go see my grandpa, aunties & uncles and cousins-I didn’t see them all, but I can’t explain how that goes.

We stopped by to see my Auntie Cook and my Uncle Steve (My dad’s sister and brother).And even though I haven’t seen them in a while, I appreciate that I haven’t because my Aunt just loves to dip in my (and my brothers and sisters) business a little TOO much.And we having a family renuion this year and I don’t even plan on going because they got disrespectful last time about my sister bringing a male friend who they swear up and down that she is dating.They nagged him so much that he got pissed because they kept asking unnecessary shit.

My Uncle Chris later comes and we just sitting down reminicing on the days when my grandmother and grandfather Raven was living.My Uncle Chris is the greatest!He’s is like my Aunt Joyce (my mother’s sister).Just so laid back and cool and not boring lol!They then show my dad the lastest gadget thing with the Ipods.My dad is slow with tech.We explain it to him at first, but it takes a second person for him to get the picture.Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh!One thing about my uncles.They LOVE LOVE cars.Every time we come visit it’s a new car sitting in the driveway-old to new Mercedes,Chevrolets anything!I’m trying to talk my uncle Steve to getting me that Mercedes lol.

We went on to stop by to see my grandpa and my cousins. First I have to say I miss my Aunt Joyce.She was too fun.Very understanding and knew exactly what to say and when to say it.She didn’t nag us.She took care of us when my dad and mom go on to work conferences during the summer.My grandfather is the shit though!You can’t argue with him or you be arguing for days LOL (those were the days too).

I know it’s blurry, but this our store!We use to visit this store every time we visit.My lesson, as cliche’ it is, you never know what you got til it’s gone.But memories are forever and I cherish those moments every day.

Semi-Homemade Cookies

So I chose to stay in the house last night.I just wanted to do something around the house.My mom happened to buy Hershey’s Kisses Peanut Butter Cookie Mix.The box was pretty heavy.It contain like 3 pouches of mix that makes 22 cookies, which is too much so I only did one.It also came with some H. Kisses. And I have to say the cookies turned out nicely.Them hoes were gone before you know it, lol.

Anybody for this so-called stimulus deal?If anybody was to tell you we got into a recession, would you believe them?Haven’t the economy been dropping since 9-11, but it’s now just catching up since Bush is about to make his exit with an standing ovation?So this stimulus deal has been approved yesterday and I can see the advantages and disadvantages.At first I wasn’t to fond of it, but now that I thought about it, it might be a good idea, but it’s like adding $600-1200 to your credit card lol.Disable vets $300, though?I’m having a flashback about this because we all remember when people were getting rebates on their kids (don’t remember what year it was). But it seems that they targeting majority low incoming families and not many middle-upper middle class people.I know I won’t get one (still dependent), but to those who are, will you be putting it in A CD?Spending it?Sounds good to be true lol.Ahhhhhh recession.I know I know I’m a nerd, when you grow up around people who into politics it’s kind of hard not talking about it lol.

O Really?Susan Smith?

It just amazes me what you can find on WIKIPEDIA.Sometimes true, sometimes just barely true.But story about Susan Smith, an Union, SC resident that had a whole nation stir up about an African American man kidnapping her two babies, but turned out to be FALSE.She killed her kids by drowning them.I was too young to even remember, so I’m just as shocked that it even happend.And as I read why she went through “somewhat trouble” all I could think is “Oh Really?” Paraphrased, here is why she did it:

Additionally, her alleged motive for the deaths — to dispose of her children so that she might have a relationship with a wealthy local man who had no interest in a “ready-made” family — was met with widely held contempt and revulsion.

WTF???I’m sorry, but I have NO LOVE for people who kill innocent kids.Let alone, their kids over a man.Let alone again, it was her own kids.You can have the disorders you want to, but what?Am I’m wrong for even thinking it’s not ok to kill even though you have a disorder?And don’t get me on how she blamed it on an innocent African American.Things like this still go on.And if any of you read futher it said two men guards were arrested for having sex with her..um there’s nothing wrong with sex, but come on Lady Susan.You already made yourself a crying whore.This world amazes me.No remorse?
